Air Fryer Samosa

Indian street food-style samosas made crispy and light in the air fryer. Healthy and full of flavor, perfect as a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 samosa wrappers
  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • ½ cup peas
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • to taste salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté for 30 seconds until aromatic.
  • Add mashed potatoes, peas, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently. Let mixture cool.
  • Take a samosa wrapper, fold it into a cone shape, and fill with the potato-pea mixture. Seal edges with water.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for 5 minutes.
  • Brush the samosas lightly with oil and place them in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  • Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.

Notes

🔹 You can use frozen peas or other vegetables like carrots.
🔹 For extra crispiness, lightly brush all sides with oil before air frying.
