Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red chili flakes for spice

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and optional chili flakes.
  • Add shrimp to the bowl and toss until fully coated in the garlic butter mixture.
  • Place shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if needed.
  • Cook shrimp at 400°F (200°C) for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Remove shrimp from the air fryer and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • Serve immediately with rice, pasta, tacos, or as an appetizer with crusty bread.

Notes

🟢 Thaw frozen shrimp completely and pat dry before air frying.
🟢 Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure even cooking.
🟢 Adjust spice level by adding more or less chili flakes.
🟢 Best served fresh, but leftover shrimp can be reheated gently in a skillet or air fryer.
